Some situations must require that no IR light must be present. Disabling the IR can be very useful!
Step 1. Log Into Cam's Web Interface
If the camera is plugged into the back of an H-series NVR, please follow this guide for virtual host to access the cam directly -> How to Setup Virtual Host
This can only be done by a local PC
Step 2. Disabling IR
Go into the Configuration Tab -> System -> Maintenance -> System Service
Uncheck Enable IR Light and click Save
